ESOTERIC® audio video products are sold in the United States through a network of authorized USA dealers selected by ESOTERIC. This network consists of retailers who demonstrate by appointment or from a physical storefront. In addition to retail locations, authorized dealers may have their own Internet sites on which they also promote ESOTERIC products.

ESOTERIC USA provides a warranty only on products imported by TEAC America, Inc. and sold only by our authorized USA dealers as new equipment.

ESOTERIC dealers have been chosen for their ability to properly represent, demonstrate and sell ESOTERIC products. ESOTERIC recommends that your purchase be from a local dealer, authorized by ESOTERIC, who can install, program and set up your purchase, within the proper system guidelines as provided by ESOTERIC.

ESOTERIC does not warrant, in any way, products that have been modified, purchased from anyone who is not an Authorized Dealer or products that have had their serial number altered or defaced. Unfortunately, ESOTERIC products are sometimes sold by companies that are not authorized to do so. Goods sold by these unauthorized companies are not purchased from ESOTERIC; instead they are acquired from other sources.

ESOTERIC products sold by unauthorized dealers may be:

1. Sold on Internet based web and auction sites, where the product is represented as “new,” or supplied with a “blank or unused warranty card.”
2. Represented as new on other third party web sites.
3. Purchased on a secondary "gray" market
4. Used but “advertised” as new;
5. Pirated goods not produced by ESOTERIC;
6. Damaged, defective or so-called "B" stock goods; or
7. Stolen goods.

Many times these products have voltage settings for use outside the USA or serial numbers that have been changed or even removed by the unauthorized reseller. Any product represented to be built by ESOTERIC that does not have a serial number issued by ESOTERIC should be held suspect by the customer. Removal or alteration of the original ESOTERIC serial number will automatically void the warranty on that product. Unauthorized dealers may knowingly deceive the consumer by telling them the product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Repairs or adjustments made by an unauthorized dealer will not meet ESOTERIC standards due to the use of improper equipment, incorrect parts and/or untrained personnel.

Some unauthorized resellers remove serial numbers and warranty registration cards or replace Esoteric’s mailing address with their own to avoid detection. For that reason, if your new ESOTERIC product has no serial number or an obviously altered serial number, immediately contact whoever you purchased that product from for resolution. Also, if there is no warranty card, USA warranty statement or introductory letter from Esoteric USA, or if the mailing address on the card or return envelope is not 7733 Telegraph Road, Montebello, California, 90640, or if you are directed to not send in a warranty card to ESOTERIC, you should immediately contact whoever you purchased that product for resolution. The best resolution would be shipment back to that seller for a full refund.

Many web sites change names and locations frequently so they cannot be reached to solve customer problems. Other sites simply go out of business.

Due to the nature of goods sold by unauthorized dealers and their business practices, products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to ESOTERIC warranty coverage.

We are using our best efforts (including this warning) to prohibit these companies from taking advantage of consumers, but these practices still exist. We urge you to use diligence when selecting a dealer to make your purchase.

The following method will determine if a dealer in question is authorized to sell current ESOTERIC products. This will give you a list of all authorized dealers near your location that you can purchase current ESOTERIC products from.
