2000-11-01 - NEW WINDOWS® NT CALL RETRIEVAL SYSTEM PUTS CALL REPLAY ON EVERY BROKER’S DESKTOP

Voice files can be heard anywhere on user’s LAN or WAN without assistance.

Montebello, CA — November 1998 — TEAC introduces the most powerful, high-performance call retrieval system available today.  The Windows® NT compatible Playback Access System (PAS) puts up to 300,000 channel hours of call recording online and accessible in moments without requiring retrieval by a third party.  The automated system stores and loads the desired disk on demand.  Recordings can be simultaneously accessed by up to 12 users. Stored calls can also be attached to e-mails or saved on the workstation HDD.  Unlike DAT storage recorders, the TEAC PAS uses highly reliable 5¼” MO disk recording media that is readily available, and rerecordable one million times, with a lifetime warranty.  Priced from $30,000 with 20-disk capacity and 2 drives, the TEAC Playback Access System can be installed within 8 weeks ARO.

The TEAC PAS is available in 20, 40, 126, 202 or 250 disk configurations with simultaneous access for 2, 4, 6, 10, or 12 users, making it ideal for many call recording applications. Every system, regardless of configuration, supports up to 255 computer connections (user channels). The system is secured to ensure privacy and prevent unauthorized access to the recordings.

All financial institutions benefit from the ability to clarify a customer’s instructions by replaying the original conversation quickly, thus defusing a potentially hostile call.  In addition, with nearly a year’s worth of voice logging capacity and the prompt, desktop-controlled recall software, center managers will be able to have total control.
