TEAC Launches Turntable to USB Recording System



Montebello, CA (April 1, 2008): TEAC America, Inc has announced the release of the first LP to USB/SD Recorder. The stand alone system allows simple recording from LP to USB or SD Flash media. You can also record from the CD player or even from the AM/FM Tuner to capture and record your favorite audio tracks. With Auto/Manual track increment and a record level control, you have the flexibility to adjust the recording level and placement of the track increments.

There is a 3 speed belt driven turntable with auto return that plays 33, 45 and 78 records. The built in CD player will play CD, and custom created CDR and CDRW media. The system comes complete with a PLL synthesized AM/FM Stereo tuner that enables you to record music or talk shows from the radio.

The first of its kind is now shipping at a suggested retail price of $249 each. "TEAC has a history of developing innovative turntable recording products", said Rand Madey, National Sales Manager for Consumer Audio, "and the LPU200 is the first to be allow recording from the LP, CD or Tuner to USB flash media."
